What is Oslo City Bike?
- City bike is a cheap and convenient way to get from A to B in the city.
- Most people use this as a supplement to their own bike, as an alternative to public transport, or just because it’s a fun way to discover Oslo.
- We provide you with bicycles and bike stations around Oslo and you get access to all of them through a subscription.
How does it work?
The system is very easy to use! Basically all you have to do is:
- Set up a profile
- Choose a subscription
- Pay and you're ready for your first trip!
You can either use our app or go directly to one of our stations to unlock a bike.
Where can I see the location of the bicycles?
You can see all the bicycle stations on this map. Our app is available both for iPhone and Android. Here you can see how many available bikes there are on each of the stations in real time.

Will I need internet connection in order to use the Oslo City Bike app?
You don't need an internet connection in order to use Oslo City Bikes. You can always use the displays on the bike stations for unlocking bicycles. Is there free Wi-Fi near your bike stops?
Unfortunately we don't have Wi-Fi near our bicycle stations. You can unlock a bike through the displays on the stations, you can see how to do that at the bottom of this article.
